A tragic road accident in Kisumu County has claimed at least 25 lives and injured many more. The bus was transporting mourners home from a funeral in Kakamega when its driver lost control near a roundabout, causing it to overturn into a ditch. Victims included a 10-year-old girl.
Initially, 29 people were injured, and four later succumbed to their injuries in hospital, officials confirmed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred on a notorious stretch of road known for accidents.
