When Mary Wanjiku, a 23-year-old from Kiambu, first heard that her local polytechnic was partnering with German institutions to train and employ Kenyan youth, she thought it was too good to be true.
“I’ve always dreamed of working abroad but didn’t know where to start,” she said. “Now, it finally feels possible.”
Mary is among hundreds of young Kenyans applying for the Kiambu National Polytechnic–Germany Training and Jobs Program, a new initiative bridging local skills with global opportunities.
